We are looking for a hardworking, team player to join us and get involved in all the divisions within the company: Conceptualisation, Events and Activations, In-House Promotions Team, Design and Branding Studio, Furniture and Set Manufacturing.

The ideal candidate is passionate about new ideas, conceptual thinking and creating and maintaining cutting-edge work, can think on their feet, is motivated, well-presented, friendly and super-efficient at managing client expectations and go beyond the call of duty. They should be able to thrive under pressure and enjoy working in a fun and open environment.

Some of the main tasks will be coming up with new campaign concepts, presenting them in proposal and quote format and then executing them with impeccable attention to detail. 

We offer a creative, dynamic and fast paced environment, with some of our work happening over weekends, public holidays, after hours. It, therefore, goes without saying that you must be flexible to work these hours.

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in management, marketing, humanities or similar
  • Relevant experience, preferably two to five years in a similar role: events and activations/marketing/shopping centre industry 
  • Computer literate - Apple Mac proficient and knowledge of Apple Pages, KeyNote and Numbers as well as Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills - strong and professional English/Afrikaans writing and speaking skills
  • Valid driver’s license and own fully functional maintained vehicle - essential
  • Excellent conceptualisation skills
  • Flair for thinking beyond the brief and understanding a campaign from a client perspective
  • Willing to learn and receive creative direction
  • Interpret client requirements and be able to work accurately and consistently to ensure deadlines are met
  • Thorough understanding of the shopping centre marketing landscape, opportunities and trends, as well as knowledge of brand activation activities and be able to translate brands understanding into events, activations & campaigns
  • Be able to budget and cost projects, use discretion in finding ways to save costs.
  • Social media: management, platform knowledge and conceptual skills - conceptualise and execute social media plans alongside the design team
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously
  • Proposal writing
  • Flexible with time (overtime and public holidays)
