Job description

A fast-paced marketing and media consultancy in Sandton North is seeking an experienced, results-driven Senior Digital Strategist to join their dynamic and innovative team to:
  • develop and implement innovative and highly effective digital marketing & communication strategies in the corporate space
  • act as a thought leader for the agency within the digital community in South Africa.

  • lead the strategic digital media function within the agency
  • work across-functional teams develop and evolve ideas to bring together brand goals, retailer objectives and consumer needs
You will leverage your deep
  • understanding on how to execute digital campaigns (web, mobile, social, CRM, SEO) working with our creative and client service teams.
  • knowledge of digital and web technologies to achieve our clients business growth goals
  • ability to identify needs and new opportunities and aspire to increase brand awareness
This is a crucial role in the agency, and you will be responsible for
  • developing strategic solutions to meet clients’ brand objectives based on consumer insight and data
  • spotting trends and technologies and the big role they play in consumer’s lives
  • working with SEM/SEO strategies


Requirements

The ideal candidate need to be 
  • be a tech-savvy trendsetter with innovative ideas to improve customer experience,
  • have a burning passion for digital technology and all digital marketing channels we would like to meet you
  • be creative and comfortable working with a team
  • connect our client's brands with their online customers through effective creative solutions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Technologies or relevant field
 Experience
  • Six+ years’ experience in strategy consulting and/or marketing strategy across multiple industries or in an agency environment
  • Minimum three years' professional experience developing and implementing digital marketing strategy, project managing digital programs and online advertising campaigns; prefer large brand experience. With demonstrated experience.

  • Good knowledge of all different digital marketing channels
  • Good understanding and experience with online marketing tools and best practices

  • Software Skills - experience with SEO/SEM, Google Analytics and CRM software
