Digital Graphic Designer

Remuneration:negotiable Basic salary

Job description

The main requirement of the digital graphic designer is to raise the bar on creativity across the studio and drive our client’s creative strategy and objective.

In addition to being an outstanding and hands-on designer, as the creative head must have strong leadership and communication skills. Running day to day briefs includes the conception and development of various design projects, working with strategists, designers and developers, pitching ideas to clients and ultimately, understanding the needs of our current clients' advertising strategy and objectives.

The role requires attention to detail, organisation and time management, clear communication skills and the flexibility required for working in a small-medium agency on a wide range of different types of creative and digital projects.

Daily requirements:
  • Lead creative sessions for project kick-offs
  • Responsible for creative strategy and execution
  • Manage multiple projects from concept through execution
  • Develop and meet the business objectives of our clients and that advance their brand strategy
  • Work with internal teams to generate ideas for client pitches, proposals and presentations
  • Provide quality control over concepts and project executions
  • Creation of design and assets for use on websites, brand file and social media platforms
  • Design digital advertising banners
  • To bring fresh ideas and approaches and perform any other duties as reasonably requested
  • Print design (desktop publishing) and sending artwork to print

  • Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop essential)
  • Additional digital skills (e.g. After Effects, Final Cut, Flash and Dreamweaver)
  • Digital experience a must
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong print design skills an advantage


  • Familiar with Web 2.0 principles
  • Experience in HTML and CSS
  • Copywriting skills

  • Relevant diploma or degree
  • Experience in a creative leadership role in an agency environment (±one to three years of experience as a mid designer)
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) - essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Multi-tasking capabilities, good time management, quick thinking and flexibility with extended working hours when required
