Financial Reporting Accountant  

ENVIRONMENT:
This Cape Town based market survey company requires an Accountant: Financial Reporting to take full responsibility for all Financial Reporting within the company. You must have at least 3-5 years experience in corporate / head office financial reporting and proven advanced MS Excel skills are essential.

DUTIES:
1. Responsible for all financial reporting (using company specific reporting format).
2. Includes budgeting, monthly and quarterly reporting.
3. Liaise with Directors, Department Heads, external and international role-players.
4. Simplify / enhance / automate current financial reporting process.
5. Put controls and procedures in place.
6. Any ad hoc tasks that might be required from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Completed tertiary education (B.Com Accounts / relevant tertiary qualification).
2. Advanced MS Excel skills including Excel modelling, macros, etc.
3. 3-5 years corporate / head office financial reporting experience is essential.
4. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal with people at all levels.
5. Highly numerate.
6. Excellent communication skills to get information from people.
7. Must be able hit the ground running.
