Test Manager  

ENVIRONMENT:
This Stellenbosch based company requires a Test Manager to join their team.

DUTIES:
1. Plan, schedule and prioritise tests and resources (personnel and equipment) to meet development targets.
2. Design, co-ordinate and execute system-level testing, in liaison with the Development Manager and team leaders to ensure comprehensive product validation and verification against approved system requirements.
3. Establish an efficient test lab environment, with well-documented test systems.
4. Perform general product quality assurance during product specification, development and testing.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. 4 year degree/diploma in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
2. Previous experience as Project Manager, Test Manager and/or Test Analyst, must be familiar with system testing in a distributed environment.
3. Computer system test techniques/methodologies, requirements mapping, and test scope/coverage analysis.
4. Knowledge of the CTI environment, Mercury test tools, script writing, SQL, C++ or Java will be an advantage.
5. Current MCP or Cisco certification will be an advantage.
6. At least 5 years experience in system engineering or software QA for distributed applications.
