Job description

We’re looking for a brilliant and highly skilled social media manager that is a brilliant strategic thinker with exceptional writing skills.
You should have command of best practices and trends in social media marketing, love being creative, and understand how to both build and convert a digital audience.
You are required to interact with customers and fans in real time on various platform. Duties also include acting as a liaison across the brands online; participating in minute-by-minute online conversations by answering questions, offering solutions and mediating conversations. This includes creating content that will spark discussion and engagements.

You are required to have brilliant verbal and written communication skills, digital knowledge, digital marketing knowledge and the ability to work with cross functional teams.

This role requires you to have a sharp wit and a willingness to work during nonstandard working hours.

This role requires your commitment to the team and our clients which include clearly communicating to clients on process’s, reports and feedback daily weekly or monthly.

Your responsibilites include:
  • Develop Editorial Calendars based on client requirements
  • Conceptualise and Create written content for all platforms including blogs, website and campaigns
  • Strategise social media campaigns the achieve clients KPI's 
  • Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including:
    • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written).
    • Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
    • Conduct online advocacy and open stream for cross-promotions.
    • Develop and expand community and/or blogger outreach efforts.
    • Oversee design (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, and blog).
    • Create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns.
    • Compile report for management showing results (ROI).
  • Work closely with other team members, which include designers, developers and strategists. This is to ensure that all visual design represents the overall brand strategy
  • Develop solid content strategies, this will include doing a brand discovery exercise to ensure your social media voice/tone is aligned to the right target audience.
  • Manage all complaints and crisis on client social media pages as they come through. 
  • Become an advocate for the Company in Social Media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
  • Demonstrate ability to map out marketing strategy and then drive that strategy proven by testing and metrics.
  • Develop a strategy and implement a proactive process for capturing customer online reviews. Monitor online ratings and respond accordingly.
  • Monitor trends in Social Media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
  • Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the business. Report notable threats to appropriate management.
  • Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the Social Media campaigns.
