Enterprise Architect

My client, a dynamic, well-known, industry leader is looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect. The candidate will be responsible for implementing the software to develop, maintain, and govern architecture across the enterprise. The Enterprise Architect is also responsible for defining the enterprise architecture (EA) process and the architecture review process and leads the effective integration of these processes with other related business and IT processes.

Requirements
• 7+ years of experience in at least two IT disciplines in a multi-tier environment;
• Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies, and processing environments;
• Knowledge of all components of holistic enterprise architecture;
• Knowledge of network architecture, client/server processing and object-oriented analysis and design;
• Knowledge of Web architectures including portals, application servers, security, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Java technologies;
• Knowledge of Relational Database technologies and data access patterns and frameworks;
• Ability to comprehend rapidly the functions and capabilities of new technologies;
• 10+ years of overall IT experience including 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture space prefer experience in ESB and SOA;
• Significant experience in designing and developing architectures (applications, data and infrastructure).
• Experience in Service Oriented Architecture;
• Experience with server-side and web application development language, frameworks, and environments such as .Net (C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net), and SQL;
• Proficiency with XML standards/protocols (i.e. SOAP, XSLT, etc.) as well as developing and applying custom XML schemas;

Personal Skills/Attributes
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers at all senior, managerial and technical levels and clearly present technical approaches and findings related to resolving business problems through technology;
• Proven ability to work both independently and in team-based environments;
• Demonstrated ability to think at an enterprise level; be forward looking -- prepare short, mid-term and long term plans;
• Strong verbal/written communication skills and excellent organizational skill;
• Must be able to demonstrate that they are on the cutting edge of enterprise software.
