Job description

  • To process the payroll.
  • To file and maintain and update payroll records.
  • To respond to inquiries telephonic and by email.
  • To manage timesheets, leave and other absences.
  • To enter and maintain electronic records and databases.
  • To ensure full confidentiality of payroll information.
  • To create and maintain payroll records for each employee -  up to date information and accurately
  • To process the payroll in a timely and accurate manner
  • To calculate salaries and wages based on attendance and timesheets – timeously and accurately
  • PaySpace lead - fully compliant. 


  • Matric or NQF equivalent
  • Two to three years' experience in payroll administration
  • Advanced level of computer literacy specifically Excel and payroll packages (Pastel)
  • Good writing skills for standard correspondence
  • Public Relations Skills
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Customer care skills
  • Basic bookkeeping knowledge and skills
  • Attention to detail and deadline driven
  • Project Management
  • Good organising and coordinating skills
  • Good understunderstandingE and UIF deductions and U19 form requirements.
