IT Training Analyst

Remuneration:Basic salary

An exciting opportunity within a new division (Legal Project Management) of a leading global law firm exists for an Analyst. You will have the opportunity to join an entirely new division within the firm and create your own footprint.

Working hours:

9.30am to 5.30pm - additional hours may be required

Able to work out of hours if required for weekend and evening courses

Able to travel to international offices to deliver training and floor walking Support

Role Overview:

The role of the IT trainer at The client is innovative and varied. The trainers' days are involved in delivering face to face and remote training, designing and preparing courses and documentation, and creating online learning. They also carry out project work related to research, upgrades or rollouts. Members of the team are encouraged to come up with new ideas and, when trainers are interested in experimenting in new areas, such as online learning, they are given every opportunity to do so.

Key Duties:
  • Provide IT training using a variety of delivery methods to all levels of staff, to enable them to use the firmâ??s technology systems effectively
  • Manage projects from a Training perspective undertaken by other areas such as Technology to offer advice on appropriate training methods and where appropriate provide training and documentation
  • Work with others in IT Learning and Technology to offer support, advice and resolution of usersâ?? technical problems. Deal with occasional user queries assigned to the IT Learning team by the Service Desk
  • Write appropriate documentation and course notes for all courses offered
  • Deliver training remotely via virtual classroom technology
  • Create online content to provide additional and alternative training formats to local and international users
  • Travel to international offices to deliver training and support, analyzing each visit upon return and submitting appropriate recommendations
  • Specific duties or responsibilities may be reviewed from time to time to reflect changes in personnel and management structure, staff location or services
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Two years' training experience in delivering remote training
  • Delivering training to all levels of users ie partners, secretaries
  • Two years' experience in delivering classroom training
  • Experience of working in a professional services firm
  • A good knowledge of MS Office 2010
  • Expertise in a variety of mobile devices and software (eg Blackberry, laptops)
  • Expertise in applications within a corporate legal environment
  • A-Levels or equivalent
  • Training qualifications

  • COLF

  • Microsoft Office 2010
  • Advanced Word topics
  • Document management systems
  • Time recording
  • Client relationship management
