Specifications:

You need to bring extensive direct, outbound, target-based sales experience and be able to demonstrate highlights and achievements in:
  • Developing sales strategies to guarantee success and growth against increasing targets
  • Prospecting and lead generation
  • Coaching, inspiring, training and motivating a sales team, ensuring that sales targets and consistently met and exceeded
  • Developing and maintaining customer relationships
  • Disciplined use of CRM system, communication and customer management
  • Handling customer complaints and enquiries
  • Forecasting and analysing sales data
  • Communicating with top-level management, business owners and c-level executive
Ideally, your experience should also include:
  • Management of third party suppliers
  • Management of events, launches, road shows and exhibitions from set up to closure
  • Delivery of exceptional service that exceeds customer expectations
Recommended requirements:
  • Valid code eight SA driving licence
  • Own reliable vehicle essential
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work after hours, weekends and some public holidays when required
Skills and experience:
    • Appropriate education – degree / diploma will be advantageous but not critical
    • Sales experience and ability to bring in new business
    • Ability to negotiate at all levels
    • Strong operational knowledge
    • People management skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Good team player and ability to build strong relationships and work across functional levels
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Problem solving skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Present and conceptualise creative event ideas and opportunities
    • Budget Management – ensure that all cost estimates and invoices are processed
    • Constantly seeking selling opportunities and ways to grow our brand in the market
