Wimpy rewards kind-hearted waiter

Following a story on Lead South Africa's Facebook page by Tertius Gous on the kindness of Vincent Mota (26), a waiter at Wimpy Canal Walk, Marius Koen, manager of Wimpy Canal Walk, has rewarded Mota with a shopping voucher.

Gous explained that a disabled man was in an electric wheelchair and had trouble communicating that he wanted ice cream. Once Nota understood the man's request, he did not hesitate to assist. "I sat there watching this and thought, 'How is this man ever going to manage to eat his ice cream?'. Then one of the waiters went and sat down with the man and started feeding him the ice cream. You could see that the waiter was not doing it because he was told to do it. You could see the compassion and love in his face. I sat there amazed. After the man had finished his ice cream, he gave the waiter a big long hug. I have never seen anything like this at any restaurant."
