The delicious odour of humble pie

Jacaranda 94.2 breakfast show host, Kieno Kammies, served humble pie to Australian High Commissioner Philip Green on Saturday 8 April 2006 as a result of a lost cricket bet. The recent cricket tour between South Africa and Australia saw Kammies wagering Green R10 000 per game, with the support of listeners, that the Proteas would win. Kammies carried an Australian flag and served breakfast to Green live on Super Saturday. R50 000 from the lost bet will be donated to the Let's Play fund on behalf of Jacaranda 94.2, to benefit roughly 900 primary school children.
