The AfrAsia Bank Cape Wine Auction was launched on Friday, 25 October at Le Quartier Francais in Franshhoek. At precisely the same hour in eight of the world's most iconic wine-loving locations: Sao Paolo, Seattle, Zurich, Franschhoek, Mauritius, Hong Kong, Manila and Sydney, corks popped to toast a dazzling champagne brunch, seattle held a stylish lunch in Sao Paolo, while in Hong Kong, Manila and Sydney a glittering cocktail after-party.
