Soweto came alive with Italian flavours on 30 March 2008, as Peroni created an Italian courtyard dining experience at the Backroom in Pimville. The evening offered the best of Italian cuisine in a three-course meal which included chicken liver pasta, polenta and Italian stew, and Italian kisses. There was Italian entertainment as well as classic music reinforcing the feel of Italy.
