You know the type: they travel with Louis Vuitton luggage; they're dressed by designer labels and are never seen without their Gucci bag. They have platinum card memberships at top health spas, and when they're not at home in their designer beds, they have permanent reservations for a suite at the Melrose Arch Hotel.

In preparation for the Wow & Wag Fashion Show TM 2007, South Africa's who's who fluffed their coats and shined their noses for the exclusive media and celebrity luncheon which was held at Kyalami Castle on 11 October 2007 and proudly hosted by gourmet pet cuisine brands, Sheba and Cesar.

The paparazzi hovered as famous canine companions dressed in designer doggie wear by Red Dog Design and local celebrities arrived in style and dined like royalty.

Once the paparazzi had got their shots, both dogs and owners sat down to a delectable five star meal. The four-legged guests were seated on lush red dog beds and were served delicious Cesar gourmet beef, chicken supreme, lamb classic and tender chicken and spinach. The rest of the guests snacked on sumptuous hot, cold and dessert canapés.

Celebrity guests included Brandon Auret and Shadow, Emmanuel Castis and his Schnauzer Mojo, Tanya van Graan with Poppy and Jacinda Louw was joined by Mejuji. Although Michelle Garforth was unable to attend the luncheon, her beloved Sushi was not going to miss this party.

These pampered pets will be seen strutting their stuff down the runway with celebrities, at the Wow & Wag Fashion Show which will be held at the Kyalami Castle on 2nd November 2007. To give back to those less fortunate, all proceeds will be donated to Wet Nose Animal Charity.
