Media24 Staffers "Got on Board"

Staffers did not only purchase their tickets in support of people with disabilities, but also took the opportunity to get really creative this year with different departments dressing up, transforming their offices into pirate ships, captain's lounges and even Caribbean Islands, while planning all sorts of fun events around the day.

The Son op Sondag partnered with GoodHopefm at the Naspers Centre, Cape Town and had an Afro-Sailor theme, joining in GoodHopefm's Kinky Afro morning show - which was a big hit amongst our 'crew'. Staffers were seen in their neatly pressed captain and sailor suits, with afro-pirates, beach goers and some surfers joining in the fun.
Some Media24 canteens also took initiative and prepared all sorts of seafood dishes from battered fish and chips meals to seafood paella and nautical coloured-cupcakes and desserts were a treat in support of the day.
