[Loeries 2009] Saturday AwardsAt the Saturday night ceremony hosted by the SABC, a total of 95 awards were handed out, with two being Grands Prix, eight Gold and five Craft Gold. MC was comedian John Vlismas, making it three years in a row, who played to a mostly full house at the Good Hope Centre which had been especially upgraded for this event. Goldfish and Lira were part of the entertainment.
