Cavendish Square will expand its annual charity book sale (from Thursday 23 August to Sunday 26 August 2012) with a two-day preview sale, starting on Tuesday 21 August. NGO Wola Nani has been invited to open the preview sale in the centre court as a way of generating advance awareness of this signature event in every Capetonian book lover's calendar.
Wola Nani hosted a cocktail launch last night, Tuesday 21 August. At the event, we displayed paper artist Keri Miller's work made from old books as well as "little read" dresses made by FEDISA fashion student, Shana-Lee Kruger using pages out of print novels and magazines. Catering for the event was courtesy of Mugg 'n Bean and Col'Cacchio.
