Inappropriate news footage

17 Nov 2004 00:535 commentsBizLike
The visuals used in the background of etv's news insert regarding the alleged club bouncer beatings were not inside Tiger Tiger.
In fact the visuals used were of a VNV nation gig held at Zeplins in Pretoria and the revellers weren't the type you'd even find at Tiger Tiger.

The obvious fact that it was implied that the interior club shots were of the club being discussed was bad enough, but the fact that the crowd wasn't even vaguely representive of the tiger tiger crowd was shocking. Way to lose credibility!

Makes you question all the footage used, doesn't it?

    What r u on about????????-
My brotha or sista, some of us don't even know what u r talkin'about (Where's dis Club, what happened and when ?). B4 u start talking about my ex-colleagues like that, coz they're still the only in-depth news providers around.

Anyway I mean, speak out louder so that we can afford to hear you... turn it up a little bit louder/ make some more noise!!! Posted on 19 Nov 2004 15:48

    Are you kidding?-
MW, I'm being quick to judge here, but you have proven much about yourself in a few lines of type. You tell the original poster to refrain from criticising your friends at ETV until you have heard about the insert in question? I'm sorry, but ETV can mess up whether you know what they have messed up or not. Instead, why don't you refrain from defending something before you know what you're talking about. Your arrogance, and flagrant, unapologetic ignorance astounds me. Posted on 30 Nov 2004 14:40

    are you a journo?-
By saying "my ex-colleagues" I take it you are a journalist? Now that to me is very astounding because journalists are supposed to be on top of the latest developments both locally and internationally. Posted on 1 Dec 2004 18:29

DOES YOUR SHRINK KNOW THAT YOU BROKE LOOSE?-
MW, let me start by saying how rare your type of blind loyalty is in this modern world. It is a characteristic that will come in handy if you are ever sent to the front lines to get slaughtered for some stupid goverment ideology.

Apart from that, your a moron. I can elaborate, but fail to be conviced that your i.q. will support you after the first few lines. I enjoy the views posted. Don't spoil it for us. Why don't you take up writing your views on subway walls. Posted on 31 Jan 2006 17:21
