Inept Reporters Spoil the News
How can local news networks employ reporters that CANNOT speak English properly to present on the English news?Don't they screen or train these people?

The main culprit is SABC news.I tuned in to watch earlier this week, and was appalled by what I saw and heard.Monotonous delivery, words mispronounced and inaudible mumbling is what assaulted my ears. "European" according to one reporter is pronounced, "U ROPE IAN".
This is ridiculous. What on earth are they employing Editors for?Don't they send their reporters for voice training. I cannot single out 1 single reporter, because they are all generally bad.

ETV News is generally good, but there are 1 or 2 reporters that really should go. There is a young female reporter with the most grating and annoying voice and the most artificial twang.I usually just mute the TV when she comes on.
