17 years working in mobile media and mobile marketing and advertising all over the globe - engineering, implementing and selling mobile operator infrastructure from London to Mongolia.
After a decade in London, Brett headed back home to Johannesburg, to start his own mobile media agency. He then had the privilege of joining Admob one of the worlds largest Mobile Advertising Networks as country Manager for the region. Now he gets to use his extensive experience in the South African and African digital media market Heading up New Products for Google Sub Saharan Africa. Where he is responsible for the commercial aspects of Youtube, Mobile, Display and Google Plus across the region
He has also served as the South African MMA Co Chair where our goals are to grow the Mobile Marketing market space, focusing on measurements, Standards Guidelines and Education. He is also passionately involved in the Mobile Monday South African Council for the past couple of years, where we bring industry minds together and explore innovation.
His passions are family, freedom, the frenetic buzz of developing digital industry, fine humour and, occasionally, a round or two of golf when not in the water skiing with his kids.
