ICT for Rural Development 2012 Conference

Conference Connections SA has the pleasure to invite you to the inaugural ICT for Rural Development 2012 Conference to be held on 19 and 20 July at Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg South Africa.

This two day conference will bring together key innovators, implementers, social entrepreneurs and thinkers from South Africa, Botswana, Nigeria, Kenya and Ghana to explore case studies on how ICT innovations can be used to benefit rural populations in Africa.

Objectives:

• access to affordable, quality services such as education and healthcare;
• service delivery by governments, the private sector and NGOs, and to make these services more responsive to citizen needs;

• education as a tool for large, dispersed, low-income populations with limited budgets.
