Our presenter: Mahendra RaghunathMahendra is the TV news anchor and newsreader for SABC TV News, and is a bulletin writer at the English Desk of SABC TV News.
With a Bachelor of Arts degree (majors in English and Speech and Drama), Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Speech and Drama under his belt, he is currently completing a Master of Arts degree in Drama.
He has lectured at a variety of educational institutions - University of Durban-Westville, University of Natal, Vista University (Soweto), Rand College of Education, M L Sultan Technikon, and Cato Manor Technical College, and is the Author of a series of academic publications. He is the co-author (with Prof. Dennis Schauffer) and has published the first in a series of twenty profiles on Black African Dramatists in Southern Africa, the culmination of four years of research in the African sub-continent.
