AJAX course

After the successful completion of the AJAX course the student will be able to effectively use the techniques of AJAX and build web pages that are truly interactive.

AJAX is not a technology in itself but rather a specific usage of a group of technologies. In essence HTML and CSS are used for presentation and JavaScript along with the XMLHttpRequest object is used to interact with parts of the presentation and the web server.

In simple terms, AJAX allows web programmers to do what desktop programmers have been able to do for a long time now. That is to update only some data presented on the screen instead of having to post the whole page to the server each time.
