Business Communications-Module 3 of Diploma

The focus of this module is on the application of the principles of communication. Students should be able to identify different brand communication situations and the role of self in facilitating effective brand communication. The relationships between all parties in the brand development process will be examined and interrelationships dissected and discussed to ensure meaningful brand dialogue.

The aim of this module is:
To understand and apply self identity in person brand building
To understand and effectively apply self in relation to others
To understand and apply the principles of effective communication
To implement constructive communication patterns
To understand the role of self in public communication
To understand the role of self in group interactions
To understand the role and concept of leadership
To understand the role and concept of power
To understand the role of culture in effective communication
To understand the importance of ethics in communication
