If you can't get to Munich for Oktoberfest, the South African annual Bierfest, in association with Tops at Spar, will bring all the oompah of this famous event to you. Taking place on the Village Green at the famous and award-winning Newlands Brewery from 13 to 16 September 2012. Embrace this event for an authentic experience for beer lovers, fine German fare, décor, costumes, music, entertainment, and, of course the delicious golden brew, served by our gorgeous Fräuleins. South African Breweries has specially created three limited edition Bavarian-style beverages for the event to compliment the selection of other beers, ciders, wine and soft drinks on offer. Visitors are encouraged to dress up to get into the true party spirit. Tickets are R85 each, and all purchases at Bierfest are made using non-refundable "crowns".
