It pays to be late - Gold Reef City Theme Park

Gold Reef City Theme Park, home of South Africa's greatest rides and attractions, is making it more affordable than ever to visit with great special fares for the next few months.

If you enter after 2pm, you'll enjoy a R40 discount on the normal admission free on Saturdays and Sundays and during school holidays. That leaves you with plenty of time to enjoy all the thrills and wonders of the theme park for just R120 per person.

Students, meanwhile, benefit from a R40 discount for admission upon display of a valid student card and will pay just R120 to enter the theme park all day. Both offers are valid until 31 October 2012.

Also, remember that Gold Reef City Theme Park is running the best winter deal in town with Ride the Weather. The lower the temperatures drop in Jozi, the less you pay to enter Gold Reef City Theme Park.

From 16 July - 31 August 2012 you could pay as little as R90 per adult and free access for children under 1,3m. As the temperature falls, so do Theme Park prices:

• Less than 10 degrees: adults pay R90; kids under 1,3m get in for free
• 10 - 15 degrees: adults pay R110; kids under 1,2m pay R60
• 16 to 18 degrees: adults pay R130; kids under 1,2m pay R80
• Above 18 degrees: normal entrance fees apply

Most of the attractions that make Gold Reef City Theme Park Gauteng's favourite family entertainment destination will be running throughout the winter periods.

Admission to the theme park includes all applicable rides, shows and entertainment, but excludes 'Jozi's Story of Gold' Heritage Tour.

The theme park is open from Wednesdays to Sundays, 9:30am to 5pm and on public holidays.
