What are the objectives and outcomes of this course?
Having attended this two day course, you will be able to: Calculate the net amount of capital used in a business and its cost; Understand how to manage a balance sheet to create value from capital, in particular working capital; Reconcile cash flow and income statement profits; Construct a cash flow statement and be able to break down overall cash flow into its operating, investing and financing components; Distinguish between accounting and economic profits and identify measures of profitability that are most relevant for operations; Identify the drivers of value creation and develop relevant key performance indicators and incentives.
