We will present this hands-on workshop for PR's and individuals who have to fulfil public relation duties, but more specifically for those who are experienced in writing features.

The workshop will focus on the writing and finalising of features. Each participant will be required to write a feature in preparation for the workshop, and will also have the opportunity to receive feedback on this in an intensive and interactive manner.

Only eight participants can be accommodated, and attendance of the previous workshops, Wired for PR Writing I: General and Wired for PR Writing II: Media releases, is not a prerequisite for participation.

Lizette Rabe, head of the postgraduate department of Journalism at Stellenbosch University, will facilitate the workshop. Dawid Botha, presenter of Wired for PR Writing II: Media releases, will be a guest presenter.

The workshop fee is R1 850, and the closing date is 11 September 2008. Although the language medium will be English, the Language Centre follows a language-friendly approach and participants will be welcome to use Afrikaans.
