Final Cut Pro

The focus of this course is to ensure comprehension and understanding of how the Final Cut Pro environment "thinks," providing a solid conceptual foundation for further development.

A CD with teaching material is supplied.

To add comprehensive special effects, transformations and 3D animation of 2D footage, it is recommended that you complete the Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects courses.

Course content

• Introduction to video editing and the input/output environment
• Final Cut Pro interface and the video production process
• Importing and capturing moving and still footage
• Editing, transition and colour correction techniques
• Sequencing and transforming footage on the timeline
• Managing and administrating footage clips
• Adding and manipulating audio
• Multicam editing
• Adding titles and graphics
• Rendering to output
