Biofuels media roundtable

The Public Understanding of Biotechnology Programme (PUB) of the South African Agency for Science and Technology Advancement (SAASTA) takes pleasure in hosting a media round table to debate the future of biofuels in South Africa.

The event will feature presentations by key people in government, industry and environmental bodies. Subjects will range from "biofuels basics" to the recently released National Biofuels Strategy, food security, economic opportunities and the potential social impacts. The presentations will be followed by a debate, where media will be given the opportunity to put questions to all panel members.

Journalists based outside of Gauteng are welcome to join the debate as well. A virtual web space will be provided whereby you can attend and participate from a remote location.
