Intro and self-assessment
Overview of the AMiP methodology and the definition of Asset Management. Performing a self-assessment to determine the current maturity of your asset management practices and performance. The 13 KPA's of modern asset management:

1. Strategy management
Asset management strategy; developing and aligning the strategy with the corporate and operational strategies; strategy implementation.

2. Performance measures
Measuring the performance of the asset management function; Measuring the performance of your assets.

3. Continuous improvement
Develop a culture of continuous improvement in your organisation.

4. Information management
Implementing and utilising systems and procedures to manage asset related data and information. The benefits and functions of CMMS's.

5. Work planning and control
Effective planning, scheduling and execution of all asset-related work. Business processes for tactical and non-tactical maintenance.

6. Organisation and manpower
Optimum organisational structures and manpower requirements to support effective asset management.

7. Autonomous maintenance
Implementation of autonomous maintenance practices to improve asset performance; Definition of TPM.

8. Contractor management
Implement effective contractor management principles and goal orientated service level agreements.

9. Maintenance tactics
Develop and optimise your tactical maintenance program; The 7 OMM steps.

10. Spares and materials
Optimise inventory levels and spares management processes.

11. Tools and workshops
Implementing effective tool and workshop management practices to support execution structures.

12. Financial management
How to enhance budgeting techniques and implement sound financial management controls.

13. Asset acquisition and disposal
Establishing asset life cycle principles to enhance acquisition and disposal decisions.
Improvement planning
Delegates have the opportunity to define their desired state, keeping in mind their current state and the world-best practices introduced during the intervention.
