Presented by:
Alison Lee:
Alison is an admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa and was a legal advisor for 15 years, first working as an in-house counsel for BAT, SA and then for SAB Miller. Alison is a partner at Christopher Lee Attorneys and also acts as CEO for the Corporate Lawyers Association for South Africa. Alison's experience lies in commercial law, the law of advertising, intellectual property, risk management, corporate governance and in particular legal compliance.

Stefan Vos:
Stefan was a legal adviser to the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) for more than 10 years; and also acted as the Registrar for the Broadcasting Complaints Commission of South Africa (BCCSA) for a brief period. Stefan currently runs a consultancy, Stefan Vos Marketing Regulation Advisers (Pty) Ltd (svmra) in which he advises players in the marketing communications industry on the acceptability of their communications, both from a legal and ASA perspective. Stefan also represents his clients in challenges before the ASA. Stefan's expertise relates to restrictions impacting on marketing communications, including freedom of expression, intellectual property law, administrative law, and codes of advertising practice.
