The purpose of the workshop is to create an awareness of the increasing importance of competitive intelligence (CI) for businesses in South Africa.
Succeeding in today's competitive business environment demands innovative approaches and fresh thinking. One of the key aims of the workshop is to involve and to provide decision-makers, managers and business unit leaders with the insight to understand competitive intelligence and how it differs from other streams of management information practices.
CI can provide a basis for sound business decisions. The changes in the global economy, the digital age, new markets and uncertainty have all contributed to the need for new business tools and different strategies to enhance the future.
The workshop is an introduction to the concepts of competitive intelligence (CI) and also provides an overview of the CI process. The workshop will offer those professionals new to CI a comprehensive introduction to CI.
You should participate if you are involved in business development, marketing and market research, brand, product and sales management, competitive intelligence, business intelligence, mergers and acquisitions, research and development, planning and general management, IT and information protection.
The Cape Town workshop includes an additional day, focussing on competitive analysis techniques.
