As the rest of the world is overdrawn in an attempt to grow their economies and jobs for its citizens, South Africa seems determined to make it as difficult as possible to do business, hire or fire staff and comply with the mountain of regulatory paperwork. Are we headed down the economic road to nowhere? Will our arrival at the main BRICS table prove to be our salvation?
