Part-time course Art Direction Module 2

This course is entry level for persons wishing to become Art Directors.

The second module covers both the theory and practical elements of art direction:
1. An awareness of the theoretical elements and principles of Art Direction.
2. Develop your conceptual skills by teaching you how to think creatively in a focused competitive manner that contemporary advertising demands.
3. Lectures will use hundreds of examples of cutting-edge print ads and cover television advertising with more examples.
4. You will be exposed to the underlying thinking that is required to do integrated multi-media campaigns using award winning examples.
5. You will work on specific product briefs in the same way as art directors do in an advertising agency. These briefs will cover print advertising and television.
6. At the end of the course you will have a portfolio of work that each art director in the industry has to have.
7. A tutorial system will give you one-on one attention from highly experienced creative directors.
After completing this course you will understand the role of the art director, have learned the craft and processes that are involved in executing an advertisement.
