Our Course Facilitator: Cliff Hocking has extensive Facilities Management experience and exposure and was performing functions that are now included in the facilities management disciplines as far back as 1978 as part of the planning and implementation team for the City of Cape Town's Civic Centre.
He has managed in-house facilities management operations in the Public Sector, Financial Services, Automotive and Healthcare industries. He also has extensive Business Development, Public Private Partnership and Consulting exposure within the industry. Cliff first got involved with SAFMA (South African Facilities Management Association) on its formation in 1998 and served as Chairman of the Gauteng Chapter from then till 2000. He has served in a number of capacities on the National Council since 2001, serving as President from October 2007 to August 2010. He is currently an active member on the Board of Directors of SAFMA, now registered in terms of Section 21 of the Companies Act.
Cliff is the owner of Wilconox Infrastructure, Built Environment and Facilities Management Services.
