About your tutor:
Beth Cooper has been a news journalist for over a decade. Former assistant news editor and senior reporter on The Herald newspaper, she has covered dozens of national and international breaking stories, including South Africa's Truth and Reconciliation Commission hearings and the death of Princess Diana.

Beth majored in journalism at Rhodes University and holds an Honour's degree in English language and literature from the University of South Africa. Now a freelance journalist and columnist, she writes for BBC Online, several local magazines and international websites.

- No previous tertiary qualification required
