Employers
WCA Workers Compensation Assistance's services are aimed at recovering losses: financial, administrative or both, that arise in the processing of injury on duty claims, or in the paying of annual assessments.
The correct manner for dealing with a claim - by all involved parties, including employers, employees, doctors and even Compensation Commissioner – is laid out in the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act (COIDA). When approached by an affected party, normally the employer or the injured employee, we work towards resolution of the claim in the most objective and efficient way.
We have also been successful in correcting and recovering substantial sums of money for employers faced with errors or inefficiencies in assessments and return of earnings. Our clients do not pay penalties and unnecessary interest.
We obtain letters of good standing and we assist with company registrations, paying particular attention to correct registration to avoid penalties or over-insurance.
Providers of Medical Services
We assist providers of medical services to recover costs of treatment for Injury on Duty patients. In many instances, providers require advice and assistance on correct billing methods and destinations for submitting invoices.
The State
We provie to the State and large employers the WAM Workplace Accident Management System for managing and processing injury on duty claims as well as payments to providers of medical services.
Injured Employees
We assist injured employees or their dependants with their claims when they snag up in the Office of the Compensation Commissioner.
Training
We provide training in Workers Compensation procedures and the legislation to clients, employees, providers and employers.
