UCT FM

UCT Radio was first established in 1976 - a time when the youth struggled to make their voices heard. It first operated via shortwave radio as a pirate station but went on to become one of the first successful applicants to be granted a broadcasting license in 1994. UCT Radio is been recognized for over thirty years of student-run radio broadcasting, informing the general UCT community and actively participating in the training of staff according to radio industry standards.
