About Claire Densham Communications
Established 1 February 2007, Claire Densham Communications is a niche PR consultancy focused on providing PR and strategy services primarily to the financial services and related industries. With over 20 years' experience, its founder Claire Densham spent 10 of those in the financial services industry where she was Head of Corporate Communications for Nedcor Investment Bank, part of the Nedcor Group. Her career included three years in New York City where she was employed by the Financial Relations Board, the largest independent investor relations firm in the United States. She holds an MPhil (Futures Studies) (cum laude) from the University of Stellenbosch.
In addition to PR, we are able to assist our clients with strategy, specifically brand strategy. Our strategy process is based on the work of David A Aaker and comprises three phases that can best be described as a research phase, a workshopping phase and a formulation phase.
We also undertake a wide range of corporate communication copywriting projects including advertising copy, brochures and annual reports.
Empowerment
In terms of the Codes of Good Practice as gazetted on 9 February 2007 Claire Densham Communications is classed as a micro enterprise, and as such has an automatic empowerment status of Level Four, which is equivalent to a BEE recognition level of 100% for procurement purposes. In terms of employment equity, the firm is 50% black.
