I have worked in the Restaurant, Clubbing and event industries for the last 17 years. I have done everything from design to management, and have owned a couple of the venues myself. I constantly update myself by reading books on the world leaders in PR, Marketing and Brands. I love everything about what I do and am passionate about all the concepts I work on, even while assisting other companies with their events.

We have established our own permission data base which has doubled (see website stats) on an annual basis, even with fewer more targeted events. Our most successful campaign to date was the Smirnoff Storm Street Party for our Durban July Afterparty. We sent out 4000 emails and had 6500 people enter the competition and send it on to at least 10 friends each, some even 30. We had 4500 attend the event which we had to stop selling tickets for at 9pm. Our competition had over a million in above the line advertising and didn't achieve the same result. Some of the best results have been achieved with smaller budgets by getting all the ingredients for a successful event right.
