SAFREA releases latest SA freelance trends report
Good report. It would be interesting to know what differeciates the freelancers who earn more to those who earn less. To know what sets them apart. Is it ther skill set, education, experience or networks?

New ‘Aspiring Africa' narrative fuelled by technology growth
Every nation deserves a chance at achieving success regardless of where is their bottomline that they wish to start from. With the aide of technology, advances can be achieved much more easily with various units coming forward with their own specialty.

Growthpoint developing steel manufacturing, galvanising facility for Maxishare
Such a big and upcoming facility is a real achievement for the company! It's hard enough for me to manage my self storage facility in Melbourne South as it is, so for me to envision expansion and adding to the number of locations that my business can reach to here is something that I'll only consider in the far future!

Insurance of sectional title units
Running my own self storage company in Melbourne South, I can tell you that there are A LOT of people who automatically assume that the company is in charge of insurance of their items in storage. But that's why we make it absolutely clear that we will not be liable for the items inside the storage unit and people have to get their own content insurance.

Why is loneliness becoming an epidemic?
I don't agree with the implication that people who are living alone are lonely or that the rate of marriage is slowing due to the cost. Marriage as an institution is slowing for various reasons such as the growing economic independence of women or that marriage no longer holds the allure that it once did (to some people).

China's Alibaba to set up logistics hub in Malaysia
Building a logistics hub for storage and operational purposes in a country that is popular with its shipping environment is a good movement for the business. It can act as a central location to liaise with business acitivites from both sides, making order fulfillment a much smoother process. The location of the new logistics hub must have been well thought through since the location would be permanent for at least the next few years to come. This is a huge move for the company to come into collaboration with the country where their business expansion will be situated at.

19.1 km of shelving for new goods distribution centre
That is a massive storage facility indeed with properly organized racking system to help the distribution centre operate with a great level of ease. Being organized would help ensure business operations can be carried out effortlessly and with much lesser chances of making mistakes. This is important especially in terms of fulfilling customers' orders on a daily basis. Human intervention would still be necessary but on a much lesser scale to alleviate human error.

Transparency, traceability key supply chain issues for seafood industry
Sustainable seafood will most likely be achieved through a multi-faceted approach and it is incredibly encouraging when stakeholders are seen establishing transparency within the supply chain. Responsible consumerism is so important and can only be enhanced through initiatives such as these.

After nearly a decade, why are electric cars still an anomaly?
The prime reasons electric cars have not take off in South Africa is very simple, lack of charging facilities, short ranges and lare travel distances and astronomical cost compared to a petrol/diesel version.

Ford throws the kitchen sink at new Focus, claiming it's "the best car in our 114-year history"
Ground up redesign? So why does it still look the same with some minor cosmetic changes? Best Ford every produced was the 1967 Mustang. The rest are ....... First On Rubbish Dump material. The focus is a flimsy tin box on wheels

Flu shots on the go with Discovery Health and Uber
Flu jabs are nothing more than a scam. The only time I have had flue in the last 35 years was when I was bullied into it by the company I was working for. Everyone who has a flu jab gets flu, buys expensive medication to combat it and then goes back the next year for more. I use pure honey at the beginning of winter and have been free of flu. Why do you think they are irradiating heat treating honey? To kill the enzymes and other beneficial properties that prevent flu and a number of other illnesses. Friends and colleagues who follow my advice have been free of flu since then despite being surrounded by those coughing their lungs out with flu and colds.

John Deere to invest R150M into local warehouse
Every investment requires a certain amount of finances during the initial stage but as the business progresses forward, there will be financial reimbursement in due time. This is when business prospects are increased at every new venture like a new storage warehouse and other facilities necessary. It is part and parcel of growing the business which is a necessary business approach.
