Ford raises the stakes in the compact car segment
Ford Fiesta was my first car back in 1994. It is amazing to see the changes this vehicle had over the years.

What's driving persistent poverty in rural Kenya
Agriculture is the basic model. Rural and Agriculture are not inseparable. Industry is the answer. not farms.

Combining communications and social science to foster sustainable behaviour
Communication is the key, how do you relate this to generations who have not been extensively taught about the importance of sustainability?

Latest accreditations awarded to healthcare facilities by The Council for Health Service Accreditation of Southern Africa (NPC)
Even health services need accreditation to give a sense of assurance to the public. Without proper accreditation, there might be doubts and trust cannot simply be bought by services alone. The people need to know that they are indeed being served by credible practitioners. When health is concerned, there is no leeway that can be provided.

Land Bank, KfW partnership to further agricultural development and transformation in SA
It seems like all of the recent developments in the agriculture industry have sparked a big flurry of movement and everybody wants to start leveraging on that while the going is good! I imagine that we will see a lot more businesses wanting to go for the grants if it will help with their storage and other cost prices. Since it seems like the bank is very eager to expand its portfolio in the area, I reckon that a lot of businesses are counting on the grants being a near sure-thing when they apply too...

The Absa brand shambles
Look, it's only because you are the only one commenting on this article that I am indulging your phony outrage at an 'opinion' piece. Please give me something better to work on pretty please.

The Absa brand shambles
I hope the work you do for banks in Africa is based on facts, not sensationalism. My goodness, to write something that essentially says: "I have not done the research; they probably have....but I know better....". No thank you. No rebuttal required.

The Absa brand shambles
I stopped taking this comment seriously when I did not see any actual rebuttal or useful feedback on thrust of my article. And not to toot my own horn, but 50% of my work is on banks in Africa. But I do appreciate that you took the time to comment. P.S I am a fan of sensationalism to make a point, so you bust me.

The Absa brand shambles
I stopped taking this piece seriously after reading "I have not done any research panels on this article" followed shortly thereafter by "Obviously, the team (at ABSA) did their homework" and then your criticism of the new ABSA brand strategy. Essentially you are saying: "I have not done any research; they have....but I am now going to continue tearing into their work...because I know I know better". As strategists we should be less sensationalist.

Attacq denies allegations of illegal water connections at Waterfall City
How can the construction of an entire facility, or any of the water connections for the structures and centres here have gone through without prior approval? If there are really that many units whose water connections in storage are not sanctioned then perhaps it's the construction companies and builders who need to be scrutinised more closely to ensure that they are not flouting their power when it comes to building facilities in the area...

African facilities management sector poised for growth
I imagine that this would be a trend that's happening across multiple industries at the moment because these services would greatly lift a big burden off of these companies' shoulders. I don't think they would want to worry about what's in storage or the daily nitty gritty handling of units in and out of their properties. They need to focus on the operations that bring the money in! It just makes sense!
