Global shipping safety and security under spotlight in Durban
I keep thinking the actual "Arr, me matey" pirates when you say that word, but of course I'm aware that there is actual piracy in the world where storage containers are raided from the shipping tankers. Even if they aren't wearing eye patches and wielding cutlasses! So it's a good thing that there are agencies dedicated to help eradicate that maritime problem!

Influencer marketing authenticity
Influencers got rather too big for their boots. The ROI isn't great, and it often feels as if brands or agencies are doing them a favour. They produce poor content mostly and don't listen to the brief. It's an odd combination of agencies competing in a more and more tight world with with tighter margins and, at the same time, influencers who seem to think that they deserve celebrity treatment.I really don't like working with them.

China needs more than 7,400 new aircrafts in the next 20 years
These statistics are actually not at all surprising in view of the fact that China indeed possesses one of the most fastest-growing industries across the globe. Doing business with this country is just going to put you on the map as their economy is as agile as it is dynamic. In no time, it won't be something new to witness them being one of the leading countries to manufacture almost anything that you could possibly think of regardless of price.

New Pasarene Winery tasting room design inspired by swallow's nest
It looks like a very big wine barrel - what a perfect design for a wine tasting room! I reckon that those slats would make it easy to keep all the furniture in storage indoors and out if they chose to put some tables out on the patio for some of their patrons too! it's really quite wonderful architecture!

Palletways Italia goes green
Even in the 21st century where autonomous vehicles are at large, I still have my personal doubts on the entire industry. I am still god-smacken on the most recent accident that happened between an autonomous vehicle and a dead pedestrian. I simply cannot wrap my head around the whole idea of having self-driving vehicles being on the road trying to make our lives easier while putting us at risk too. I fear for the lives of running children and slow-moving old folks even if it is just a delivery vehicle with food in its storage.

The future of logistics depends on key elements
I would be very interested to actually see the whole operations process function on some of the new technology. In theory the action of storage and logistics seems very labour intensive, so to be able to install an automated system with the IoT technology ingrained into the whole system is something that I think a lot of people are eager to have succeed. It would de finitely save all of these companies a lot of money if all these processes could be streamlined!

Investors notice Africa's transport and logistics opportunities
Africa is doing a good job in recognizing where they can and should be growing. What's exciting is seeing the potential come out of there with the resources and demand from the population that is starting to lift themselves out of poverty. It won't be long before you start to see greater movement in the storage warehousing and logistics solutions there!

Influencer marketing authenticity
I make it a point to never purchase anything endorsed by an Influencer. I doubt the authenticity of everything and anything they shill.

Stellendale offers affordable housing for first-time buyers
Affordable housing is in demand regardless of the location even here in Brisbane. There will always be a certain group of audience that is keen on such a niche market. There has to be consistent supply within this area of interest to ensure that the ongoing demand is always met.

Delivering a true omnichannel experience: what you need to know
A wonderful article Lynette and well said about "customer being the queen" .. I agree that there is still a lot of grey area when it comes to "omnichannel", but having said that it has well been adopted by the retail industry.. As a retail technology company we see retailers struggling with managing their data and information., I work with Inventrik and we have a product information management system called OmniPIM , which harmonizes all technical and marketing information, giving our consumer a seamless experience when shopping. You can check it out at inventrik.com/pim-system/

Eastern Cape cooperative launches livestock feed and maize meal processing facility
Now that the processing facility has been built, there would be a need for adequate storage solutions to cater the feed and maize produced. Without proper storage, there could be wastage created and this would need to be avoided at all costs. A careful plan needs to be put in place so as to arrange the layout carefully. Once everything has been set, then only operations can be run smoothly.
