Two new SPACES centres bring much-needed workspaces to economic hubs of Cape Town and Sandton
I think that even some big companies have similar meeting spaces inside their own compounds. Where such spaces like this exist in public, it's a whole different ball game altogether! It's not just about the equipment and tools in storage that they can use, nor the price of the space that the businesses use, but about their ability to hold meetings with other companies in an easy and accessible way. That's why spaces like this are doing so well in the current economic climate!

Changes in facilities management - trends and progression
Even for me managing my self storage business in Australia, I reckon that I need a good manager on site to help with running the facilities here so that I can focus on the business end of marketing and actually selling the storage units to my customers! maintenance and other aspects of keeping this facility running takes a great deal of my time away from actually making the money and I think that a lot of other business owners would agree about this stance if they could afford it!

Aspen's new facility to create more jobs
This is also one of the highly anticipated opportunities that the locals would be looking forward to. Any facility that is about to be built would definitely create jobs in the related sector usually in a certain number. Apart from that, products and services will be increased too, hence reducing the overall waiting time of consumers. In general, the whole experience would provide an improved environment for buyers.

Tiger Brands and world-famous artist come together for Heritage Day celebrations
I remember listening to Dr Mahlangu as she narrated her first flight experience abroad. She's a living legend. Indeed an iconic symbol of our heritage and a testimony of what's possible when you pursue your passion with all that's within.

Will the real influencers please stand up?
I love the tittle! But are the fake influencer even going to stop? I use something like the influencerauditor.com just to specifically identify and audit them. Great read by the way!

Gauteng Health invests R36m in cancer facility
With the investment made, the facility can expect to see improvements in no time. Patients can receive increased medical services and attention at a much faster rate. This is what we would like the community to have especially those with critical medical conditions. They need the assurance they can get that they will be served when they need to be.

Benefits of co-working spaces in a recession
I actually think that a lot of start-ups have a very good advantage over some traditional companies that are in traditional offices and buildings. Because they work with other companies from different industries, it seems much easier to see what other services are available for collaborations. It's really not just about the shared storage and rent costs, but about the opportunity to network and create other solutions from those hook-ups and meetings!

How significant is DOOH vs static OOH?
Hi DanetteThanks for this well considered reporting of part of my speech at the JCDecaux Africa Annual Conversation 2018. I would just like to make one correction; this part of the research I discussed was jointly funded and conducted by a consortium of companies which included Clear Channel Outdoor, Exterion Media, APG as well as JCDecaux and was supported and sponsored by FEPE

African facilities management sector poised for growth
When we talk about growth in any sector at all, it simply goes to show that there is an increase in consumer demand. Consumers need services and when businesses come forward to fulfill them, the sector is bound to see rapid progress. This is how we can tie consumer relationship with the businesses. They work directly and affect each other to a certain extent.

Da'Realty revamps Sea Point shopping centre
They might have revamped the shopping centre but it is shocking that to-date the escalators have not been repaired and the elevators they have in the centre are very very slow. Also they did not take into account that people walking in there might have wet shoes and a few people have commented how slippery the tiles are. I nearly slipped twice. Also over the years the Pick'n Pay leaves much to be desired. Well, the Checkers centre further down in Sea Point is benefiting of this. Really not impressed at all.

Great article Danette. We are currently using GEO fencing intelligence on OOH.Using Mobile intelligence with OOH campaigns? 1. Use location insights to understand the most relevant OOH sites for your brand or target audience. 2. Extend audience reach by combining OOH advertising with the power of mobile. 3. Analyse the impact of your OOH media strategy on driving physical store traffic.
