I think it should be back. Trevor and Dineo are good at what they do and i believe they did a brilliant job. They got celebrities talking about issues that the public was curious about and they allowed celebrities to clear the air about rumours doing the rounds. Basically, as an ordinary middle class female who buys every album that Arthur releases and attends many of his shows, thereby helping him put food on the table for his kids, he owes it to me to clarify whether or not he used to beat Queen up. Simple!
They tried to bring RGB back and i said NO NO NO by Darth Vader
That show sucks. They tried to do what we see on e entertainment live and failed. What they should have done is focused on usung the public and freelance markets as suppiers of content instead of fillig an hour of precious brodcast time with boring and mundane interviews sprinkled with an insert here and there. what they are trying to do is correct yes we do need the celeb culture in SA but it cannot be done buy one show on a SABC budget ....whoever the hell was in charge of that show must watch more TV and get ther head out their A@=........
I fail to understand why bemyekisa..... They jst want to play some DRAMAS that undermine south African cultures and traditions such UmthunziWentaba....WE don't want such staff... Any1 involved in those DRAMAS should learn to respect Peoples cultures. Please bring back RGB...
I think that the producers need to rethink their strategy as to their guest, I mean they will soon run out of 'cheap,self-obsessed,attention grabbing "celebrities"' like o Kelly, Khanyi, Chomee, really who's next Somizi? Please.
Get real celebrities on the show like that girl from Rhythm City Mmabatho and Lungile Radu, up and coming celebs who've got real talent.
Explain to me as to why you guyz think that I want to see Khanyi and her husband on the show? Or hear how Kelly thinks Dj Cleo is after her man?
Please do not insult our intelligence.
And as for Lelo... Go to a tv presenting course or just stick to what you do best whatever that is....
Real gobhoza is suppose to bring us umgosi on the celebs they interview. They go soft on them. They don't ask the stuff we really want to know. We would like to see a good presenter/ bad presenter strategy. Go easy on the guest then hit him / her hard with a juicy question. Bayabatotosa. it is more like they rehearse questions with them before the show. They are too friendly.
RGB would have been perfect if Lelo jumped over a cliff and if the presenters really grilled the artist they invited on the show. They really went easy on them. I know that these presenters are friends with the celebrities, but come one, we need a show that is direct and presenters that are not scared. Imagine a younger version of Debra Patta, now that would have been a show to watch. Secondly, the content man, i mean we read about it on Shwashi and the same stuff turns up on RGB? Who does your scriptwriting and research man and come one, SA TV NEEDS TO HAVE SOME BALLS!
if it comes back i want to be the presenter, we dont need same faces over and over again. there are good presenters out there we are just not awarded the opportunities to present because we dont have relatives in the T.V industry, the show is fine it needs some creativities and thats all, and we need hard core staff that happens in the lives of Celebrities, and we are tired of Khanyi Please next time we need somebodyelse,
