The brief
Norman Berry, O&M's international Creative Director in the 80's, said "Give me the creative freedom of a tight brief". Makes sense.

Influencer marketing: Why you should care!
As part of a public branding campaign, I am not sure who would be a typical influencer. Celebrities, politicians, Pope Francis? Also, isn't there a big difference between influencer marketing and just your honest, organic, spontaneous word-of-mouth phenomena actually driven by the quality of the product? Am I being naive here?

Team assembled to plan post-2020 road for automotive sector
I've always been impressed with the engineering of the Smart cars, but we really don't see a lot people interested to finance or own one themselves. There's this preconceived notion that there just isn't ever going to be enough space.

One small step to mobile ROI
Mobile is key moving forward, an estimated 330m new mobile phones will make their way into Africa by 2020. There are already more mobile devices in Africa than toothbrushes, scary but true... Consider that 75%-90% of shoppers (product vertical dependant) use their mobile phones in store to research & compare pricing. Short form mobile video consumption will surpass TV by 2020 globally and finally as at Dec 2015 Google confirmed that the average South African unlocks and interacts with their mobile 110 times daily. I suspect the majority of Africans, South American & East Asias would dwarf this number, it's not uncommon for price sensitive aspirational users to carry multiple phones in these territories. Not doubt that mobile is able to make a meaningful contribution to business and commerce.
The future is dependant on our ability to financially make many easy, secure micro-mobile payments to individuals who actually deserve the money. Making secure, cashless mobile payments possible between the seller & buyer of (as an example) fruit and veggies from the seller's garden seamlessly will go a long way to distributing economic wealth to millions of people. Uber is a great example.. While it creates a platform that allows individuals the ability to monetize their under utilized vehicles, proving that money can be earned by the "little guy" its biggest achievement in my humble opinion is the cashless, secure and easy payment process that it has created.
A real opportunity for developing markets to augment their GDP growth by developing African apps for African people created and owned by Africans too.

How long does SEO take to rank me at #1?
Hi there, yes a very large part of this is education, the language in the industry needs to change, without that the industry will always have a large disconnect in terms of understanding how many different types of SEO there are, and what they actually require. The other part of this is that the cost for these services doesn't offer immediate visible ROI, like search, so it makes winning the business only possible after the education. I wont go into unethical agencies that sell the client "SEO" but buy search instead, so makes it very difficult to change the understanding. We are winning the battle slowly but surely.

Toyota tips profit dive on strong yen, slower emerging markets
From a financial consultant's aspect, if you've got a good car finance plan, a few hundred dollars shift won't affect your need to want to own a Toyota! Haha!

Nissan in tie-up talks with scandal-hit Mitsubishi
Mitsubishi really got itself into trouble with this one. And the Japanese are notoriously self-reprimanding when it comes to being accountable for this sort of thing. I don't know if Nissan financing them and taking over will even save them then…

Toyota Hilux 2.4 GD-6 - torque about it
The growing statistics are not surprising for a diesel-powered vehicle that does not sacrifice on performance such as this model. It is great especially for commercial purposes where daily loads are often substantial and the vehicle needs to accommodate that on a daily basis without failing.

MY17 Nissan GT-R revealed
I have always thought that the GT-R was a high-performing speed demon judging from its bulky exterior. I personally prefer to experience luxury and beauty in a single machine which means that the car needs to look sleek and compact without sacrificing the speed capacity.

Could this weird-looking concept take on the Smart FourTwo?
I wont be surprised if people come to me for finance for this car, but I'd be worried about the amount of storage space there is here more than anything.
