Comments on Miss SA -- where has the glamour gone??

I think people don't care about it anymore. Amy Kleinhans was the last Miss SA that was worth the effort and worth noting. Since then you'll only hear about the odd Miss SA that made it relatively big after the fact, like Jo-Anne Strauss. The days of the Michelle Bruce's, Suzette van der Merwe's and Diana Tilden-Davis' are loong gone. Maybe the format should be relooked.

Not Worth it At All! by Ms. Cairo

I watched with disgust, it's true there's no style anymore the winner looked like she was ready for her pension why could they choose a much younger girl, some of the participants couldn't even answer a tiny question such as what is that makes you proud be South African, there was no interlligency that came through their answers, I think some of them were trying toooooo hard to Impress the judges and missed the whole point of the question, the one said some thing about amiacable which didn't fit with rest of what she was saying......doh!!!!

I'm not sure if people still ... by Miss South Africa

remember Amy Kleinhans but I do know that the know Bassie aka Basetsana Khumalo. She has really proved herself beyond her Miss South Africa tittle. She was and still is a true amabassodor of South Africa and that of course is accordiong to moa!

Visit the Miss SA Forum !! In 2004 SABC1 did have promo'd and call for entries !!! The only thing is ,that there is so much more that the pageant has to compete with reality tv and so on !!! They need to rework the formula !!!
