with all these huge companies monopolising the industry, its like a cartel. Unfortunately, this is not a south african phenomenon, its world-wide so is unlikely to change. What's a big problem in sa is the fact that these cartels are not representative of the majority.
There are independent publishers out there who are trying and I'm adding to the numbers. Look at www.myafricanmag.com and take part. One day a difference will be felt.
